Aufgewachsen bin ich in der Stadt mit drei O - "Korl-Morx-Stodt" in Sachsen, welches nach der Wende wieder seinen ursprünglichen Namen Chemnitz erhielt. Der Mauerfall fiel mit der Endphase meiner Schulzeit zusammen, und ich bin direkt nach meinem Abitur im Herbst 1990 nach London gezogen, wo ich - nach einem kurzen Abstecher in die Bildende Kunst - Theaterwissenschaften und Schauspiel studierte und danach mit diversen (internationalen) Theatergruppen in den verschiedensten Genres (von Physical Theatre / Tanz bis Sprechtheater, auf englisch und deutsch) und für Film und TV arbeitete. Englisch spreche ich auf muttersprachlichem Niveau.
Anfang des neuen Milleniums verlagerte ich meinen Wohnsitz von London nach Berlin, wo ich mein Erfahrungsspektrum noch um (Jazz) Gesang (mehrere Jahre sang ich in einer dreistimmigen Swingband), Tango-, Salsa- und Swing-Tanzen und Tai Chi erweiterte.
Meine durch den Mauerfall begünstigte Entdeckerlust führte mich bereits in mehrere europäische Länder, nach Asien und nach Südamerika. Anfang 2011, 2012 und 2014 verbrachte ich jeweils zwei Monate in Kolumbien, wovon ich sehr begeistert war, und wodurch ich mir gute Spanisch-Kenntnisse angeeignet habe.
Im Idealfall möchte ich meine Entdeckerlust und mein Interess an verschiedenen Kulturen mit meiner Arbeit als Schauspielerin auf internationaler Ebene verbinden. Meiner Arbeit widme ich mich immer mit ganzem Herzen und voller Leidenschaft, und kann dabei auf eine Reihe persönlicher Erfahrungen und praktischer Fähigkeiten zurückgreifen.

I grew up in the former East Germany and was lucky enough for the final stage of my school education to coincide with the Fall of the Berlin Wall. I took opportunity of my sudden freedom and moved to London right after finishing school in the autumn of 1990. After a short detour to the visual arts, I studied Drama and Theatre Arts and Acting, and worked with various (international) theatre companies (ranging from physical theatre / dance to more traditional word-based theatre) and in film and TV, in English and in German. I can speak English on a native level.
At the beginning of the new Millennium I moved from London to Berlin, and extended my pool of experiences to (jazz) singing (I performed with a close-harmony swing formation for a number of years), Tango, Salsa and Swing dancing and Tai Chi.
My "Wanderlust", aided by the Fall of the Wall, led me to various places all over Europe, to Asia and to South America. I spend two months in Colombia three times, at the beginning of 2011, 2012 and 2014, and have developed a great fascination for this country, as well as good Spanish language skills. In an ideal world, my passion for travel and my interest in different cultures will be combined with my work as an actress on an international level. I always dedicate myself to my work wholeheartedly, and can not only draw on a rich pool of life experience, but also on a range of practical skills.
